The County of Simcoe is seeking submissions from qualified and experienced vendors. Only online submissions will be accepted for this opportunity. RFP No. 2023B010236-710-01 FOR: ARNOLD BRIDGE REHABILITATION DESIGN he County of Simcoe is requesting Proposals for the provision of consulting engineering services to rehabilitate the Arnold Bridge on County Road 10, approximately 670m north of 5th sideroad, in the Township of New Tecumseth. The existing bridge is a single span reinforced concrete rigid frame which measures approximately 10.6m span and 11.1m wide. The work includes carrying out a detailed deck condition survey (DDCS), detailed substructure condition inspection, topographic survey, undertaking an Environmental Assessment including necessary studies, obtain all necessary approvals, prepare the detailed design, and prepare the contract specifications and drawings for construction. This project is classified as Schedule A under the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment. Consideration shall be given to the future expansion of County Road 10 from two to four lanes which is included in the current Simcoe County Transportation Master Plan |
