For: PURCHASE & REMOVAL OF PROCESSED SHINGLE CRUMBS

The County is seeking Quotations for the purchase and removal of processed shingle crumb from the Nottawasaga Waste Management Facility (Site 10).

  • Material: Processed shingle crumb (screened to 1/2" minus)
  • Condition: Sold as is, where is
  • Quantity: Variable; no guaranteed volume
  • Pricing Structure: Contractor pays the County on a per metric tonne basis

Site and Operating Hours

  • Location: Site 10 – Nottawasaga Waste Management Facility, 5715 County Road 64, Stayner, ON
  • Standard Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Extended Hours: With Site Supervisor approval, pickup may be permitted from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Access: Unaffected by seasonal half-load restrictions (grinding typically occurs March 1 to April 30)

County Loading Assistance

For pre-scheduled pickups, the County will load the Contractor’s vehicles.

Weighing Requirements

All vehicles must:

  • Cross the inbound scale before loading
  • Cross the outbound scale prior to departure

Scale tickets will be used to determine invoicing and payment.
