The County of Simcoe is seeking submissions from qualified and experienced vendors. Only online submissions will be accepted for this opportunity. Request for Proposal No. 2022B010200-905-01 For: BOYNE RIVER BRIDGE REPLACEMENT DESIGN COUNTY ROAD 10 The County of Simcoe is requesting Proposals for the provision of consulting engineering services to rehabilitate or replace the Boyne River Bridge on County Road 10, approximately 75m north of Highway 89, in the Township of New Tecumseth. The existing bridge is a three-span reinforced concrete slab on precast concrete girders which measures approximately 21.2m in each of the span for a total span length of 63.6m. The work includes carrying out a detailed deck condition survey (DDCS), detailed substructure condition inspection, topographic survey, geotechnical investigation and hydraulic/hydrology study, undertaking an Environmental Assessment including necessary studies, identify property requirements, obtain all necessary approvals, prepare the detailed design, and prepare the contract specifications and drawings for construction. This project is classified as Schedule B under the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment. The County of Simcoe may, at its sole discretion, extend any resulting Contract to include Contract Inspection and Contract Administration, subject to review of experience and agreement on hourly rates provided in the Proposal. |
