The County of Simcoe is seeking submissions from qualified and experienced vendors. Only online submissions will be accepted for this opportunity. Request for Proposal No. 2021-090 For: Executive Fundraising Campaign Services for the Simcoe Manor and Village Seniors Housing Project The County of Simcoe is seeking proposals from providers of Executive Fundraising Campaign Services with a proven record of accomplishment in developing and delivering to conclusion, a multi-million dollar, multi-year fundraising campaign. This campaign’s mission is to raise funds to supplement the redevelopment of Simcoe Manor and Village located in Beeton, Ontario. The project is valued overall at approximately $203M. The County is seeking an experienced team to set a realistic fundraising target, then move forward to develop and lead a robust campaign to a successful conclusion in mid-2024. Simcoe Manor has existed in Beeton since 1898 and has undertaken multiple renovations. Currently, the Manor consists of 126 long-term care beds and 32 self-contained supportive living apartment units as part of Simcoe Village. The campus redevelopment plan covers approximately 500,000 square feet and includes:
Preliminary Fundraising Campaign Service Provider Goals: Goal 1: Develop and implement a fundraising campaign work-plan that will reach the fundraising target within the required timeline, maximizing all potential donor sources including individuals and corporations, government bodies, NGO’s and foundations. Goal 2: Provide services to the County that are funded by a % of the dollars raised using an industry standard “cost per dollar raised” KPI or other acceptable fee model. Goal 3: Work closely with Finance representatives and other key project members to ensure strong understanding of funding goal status, prepare update reports for the Fundraising Cabinet including a final report. The County is requesting that Proponents submit within their proposals any other key relevant goals or deliverable with regard to a fundraising campaign such as this, and their plan to achieve them |
