The County of Simcoe is seeking submissions from qualified and experienced vendors. Only online submissions will be accepted for this opportunity. Request for Quotation No. 2026-017 For: PROCESSING SERVICES – MATTRESS RECYCLING The County of Simcoe (the “County”) invites Evaluated Quotations from qualified service providers for the receipt, processing, and recycling of mattresses and box springs collected at its Waste Management Facilities. The objective of this Request for Evaluated Quotation (RFEQ) is to establish agreements with one or more qualified suppliers capable of delivering compliant, dependable, and cost-effective mattress recycling services. Selection will be based on best overall value to the County, taking into account both pricing and non-pricing criteria. This procurement process is conducted in accordance with the County’s Procurement By-law and all applicable trade agreements. The County is responsible for waste management services across its sixteen (16) member municipalities, excluding the separated Cities of Barrie and Orillia. The County operates eight (8) Waste Management Facilities, all of which accept mattresses and box springs. Through this process, the County seeks to engage experienced and qualified contractors to provide professional mattress and box spring recycling and processing services. |
