The County of Simcoe is seeking submissions from qualified and experienced vendors. Only online submissions will be accepted for this opportunity. Request for Proposal No. 2026-052 For: SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT TRANSFER OF CURBSIDE GARBAGE AND ORGANICS The County of Simcoe is responsible for the management of residential solid waste programs, including the transfer, haulage, processing/disposal of curbside garbage and source-separated organics. Beginning in 2027, the County intends to outsource the transfer of curbside garbage and organics operations currently performed at County-owned facilities. This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) seeks qualified Proponents to provide transfer services whereby curbside collection vehicles and other County approved haulers can offload material for the same material to be consolidated, kept segregated, and reloaded into the County’s hauling fleet (County and contracted haulers) for transport to County-contracted processing and/or disposal facilities. |
