The County of Simcoe is seeking submissions from qualified and experienced vendors. Only online submissions will be accepted for this opportunity. Request for Proposal No. 2026-050 For: 2026 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY The Owner is requesting Proposals for the provision of a Consultant to lead the development of a comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (2027–2031). The Consultant will complete an evidence-based situational analysis, undertake broad stakeholder and partner engagement, and produce a forward‑looking strategy that identifies priorities, actions, roles, timelines, performance measures, and implementation requirements. The Strategy will support the County’s role as a regional leader in economic development, build upon existing assets and initiatives, reflect emerging economic and workforce trends, and align with Council priorities. The completed Strategy will provide clear direction to guide economic development activities across the County for the next five years. |
