The County of Simcoe is seeking Responses from qualified and experienced Applicants, interested in placement on the County's Qualified Supplier List. Only online submissions will be accepted for this opportunity. Request for Prequalification No. 2026-103 For: AUDITORS LICENCED UNDER THE PUBLIC ACCOUNTING ACT TO CONDUCT ELECTION COMPLIANCE AUDIT(S) The County of Simcoe (“County”) is requesting Responses from Auditors licensed under the Public Accounting Act, 2004, interested in the provision of professional services to conduct municipal election compliance audits resulting from the 2026 municipal election as directed by the Joint Compliance Audit Committee (JCAC). The County of Simcoe is composed of 16 member municipalities and provides crucial public services to County residents in addition to providing paramedic and social services to the separated cities of Barrie and Orillia. As of November 2026, County Council will be comprised of the Mayors of each of its 16 member municipalities and a Head of Council for a total of 17 members. The County intends to select up to five (5) Qualified Applicants for the Standing Arrangement List, the Joint Compliance Audit Committee (JCAC) shall select and appoint one (1) Auditor from the Standing Arrangement List. If the JCAC requires additional capacity, the JCAC reserves the right to select and appoint an additional Auditor from the Standing Arrangement List. |
