For: GENERAL CONTRACTORS FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF COUNTY ROAD 21 PHASE 3

The intent of this bid opportunity is to identify and short-list high quality General Contractors with the necessary experience to complete the planned reconstruction of County Road 21 Phase 3, which includes widening from two to four lanes for a total distance of 1.4 kms. This site is located in Innisfil, Ontario as described in Section 6 and the construction budget is estimated to be $14 -$16M.
This work will involve road reconstruction, concrete works (curb and gutters, sidewalks), storm sewer installations, sanitary sewer and lateral installations, watermain and ARV chambers horizontal directional drilling (HDD), dewatering, culvert replacement, retained earth slopes, steel beam guide rail, paved multi-use trail construction and wooden boardwalk supported by helical piles. The intersection of County Road 21 and Industrial Park Road/Commerce Gate will be reconstructed to add additional turning lanes and update the existing traffic signals.
Applicants wishing to be considered must be a single legal entity, not on the County’s Suspended Suppliers List and meet the requirements listed in Section 4 of this RFPQ document. Acceptance of applicants currently on probation shall be at the discretion of the County.
