The County of Simcoe is seeking submissions from qualified and experienced vendors. Only online submissions will be accepted for this opportunity. Request for Proposal No. 2024-025 For: Supportive Rapid Rehousing Programs in the communities of Barrie, Collingwood, New Tecumseth and Orillia The County of Simcoe is requesting Proposals for the provision of supportive rapid rehousing programs and operations management. The County of Simcoe is inviting proposals from not for profit/charitable groups to provide support services and property management for up to four (4) modular sites in the communities of Barrie, Collingwood, New Tecumseth, and Orillia. Specific locations in each respective community will be provided as soon as possible. The County intends the sites to be used for the provision of supportive rapid rehousing for low to moderate acuity individuals supporting the outcome of moving people from homelessness to permanent housing within an accelerated timeline while meeting their needs and goals. Proponents may submit Proposals for operations of one or more programs in the communities identified, along with a proposed operational model and staffing requirements under a 24-hour model to support between 10 - 20 individuals. The County requires one or more programs to be fully operational, with resident occupancy, no later than April 30, 2024. It is the intention of the County to award Funding Agreements for supportive rapid rehousing programs and operations management for up four (4) locations. Award may be based on the order in which each designated site is ready and available for set up of operations.
