The County of Simcoe is seeking submissions from qualified and experienced vendors. Only online submissions will be accepted for this opportunity. Request for Prequalification No. 2025-031 For: ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES The County of Simcoe is an upper tier municipality located north of the Greater Toronto Area and is comprised of 16 towns and townships and the separated Cities of Barrie and Orillia. The County’s programs and essential services include social housing, land ambulance and emergency planning, waste management, public transportation, a County road system, Ontario Works, Lake Simcoe Regional Airport, Children’s Services, Long Term Care and Seniors Services, Museum, Archives, County forest management, Tourism, and land use policy planning. The County operates 40+ service locations, including paramedic stations, roads garages, Ontario works offices, landfill sites and transfer stations, truck maintenance shops, a museum, an archives facility, an administration centre, an airport, numerous social housing sites, and four Long Term Care homes. The County of Simcoe is requesting Responses from Applicants interested in placement on the County’s Qualified Supplier List for the provision of architectural services for a three-year term. This Request for Prequalification process is intended to create a list of prequalified architects who will be invited to bid on future County of Simcoe construction and renovation projects. Applicants wishing to be included on the Qualified Supplier List will meet the requirements listed herein and will have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience providing architectural services including but not limited to: All successful Applicants will be placed on the Qualified Supplier List. The placement of an Applicant onto the Qualified Supplier List does not guarantee future work and the County is not obligated to award work or enter into any contract with any successful Applicant now or throughout the term of this Agreement. Qualified Suppliers who are awarded subsequent work will be required to sign an OAA 600-2021 A contract with the County of Simcoe to provide full consulting services as outlined in the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) and the County of Simcoe supplementary conditions to the OAA Agreement as outlined in Schedule A. Only those Applicants placed on the Qualified Supplier List will receive further notices of procurement opportunities covered by this RFPQ process. |
