The County of Simcoe is seeking submissions from qualified and experienced vendors. Only online submissions will be accepted for this opportunity. RFQ No. 2026-014 FOR: PROCESSING OF WASTE WOOD CHIPS – HAULAGE AND RECYCLING The County of Simcoe is soliciting submissions for the provision of haulage and recycling services for waste wood chips generated at up to eight (8) County operated solid waste management facilities within the County. An optional site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Oro Medonte Landfill, located at 610 Old Barrie Road West, Oro Station, Ontario (L0L 2E0). The purpose of the site visit is to provide potential Bidders with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Work requirements and site conditions. Attendance at the site visit is optional; however, the County strongly encourages Bidders to attend with appropriate personnel. Additional details are available in the Site Meeting tab within the Bidding Tool. Bidders are not required to sign in or otherwise confirm attendance at this site visit. |
