The County of Simcoe is seeking submissions from qualified and experienced Contractors. Only online submissions will be accepted for this opportunity. Request for Tender No. 2020-006 For: ROOF REPLACEMENTS, LONG-TERM CARE HOMES IN ONTARIO The County owns and operates four Long-Term Care and Senior Services homes within Simcoe County - Simcoe Village located in Beeton, Trillium Manor located in Orillia, Georgian Village located in Penetanguishene, and Sunset Village located in Collingwood. These facilities range from 101,206 square feet to 287,000 square feet. Trillium Manor has a requirement for the replacement of approximately 31,400 Sq. Ft. of roof, Solvent Free Cold Process Built‑Up Bituminous Roofing. Budget permitting, 20,600 Sq. Ft. of roof, Solvent Free Cold Process Built‑Up Bituminous Roofings is also required. Sunset Village has a requirement for the replacement of approximately 33,260 Sq. Ft. of roof, Solvent Free Cold Process Built‑Up Bituminous Roofing, Solvent Free Cold Process Protected Membrane Elastomeric Roofing and Fluid Applied Elastomeric Urethane Membrane Restoration System. Budget permitting, 5,280 Sq. Ft. of roof, Solvent Free Cold Process Built‑Up Bituminous Roofing is also required. The purpose of this Request for Tender (RFT) is to select a contractor(s) with demonstrated experience, qualifications and requirements as specified herein to remove and replace the designated areas of roof, as per the Specifications and Procedural Specifications. |
