For: KITCHEN REPLACEMENTS 1 BLAKE STREET, BARRIE ON

This Request for Tender is being issued by the County of Simcoe on behalf of Simcoe County Housing Corporation (SCHC).

The Simcoe County Housing Corporation owns and operates over 50 community housing sites within the County of Simcoe. These residential buildings range from larger high rises to smaller two-story and three-story walk-ups, modular trailers, as well as detached and semi-detached scattered housing.

1 Blake Street is a 91 unit, 8 story midrise apartment located in Barrie Ontario. SCHC will be replacing all kitchens over the next 2 years. Approximately half of the units will be completed in 2025, and upon budget approval the remaining half are scheduled for 2026. Upon budget approval, and satisfactory completion of the work completed in 2025, the Contractor may be requested to complete the remaining kitchen units in 2026.

Contractors must notify tenants minimum 24 hours written notice prior to Tenants occupy these units and will require reinstallation of new kitchens on the same day as the old kitchen is removed.

Work required includes but is not limited to the removal and disposal of existing upper and lower kitchen cabinets, counter tops and all other materials/debris. The supply & installation of new cabinetry, quartz countertops, matching quartz backsplash, new stainless-steel sinks, plumbing modifications, electrical modifications, and all other incidentals required.
