| Description: |
The County of Simcoe is seeking submissions from qualified and experienced vendors. Request for RFT No. 2018B000211-066-01 For: Vigo Bridge Replacement The construction of a 3 span, 89.5 m concrete slab on curved steel girder bridge, located on Flos Road #4 West and over the Nottawasaga River. The work shall also include the installation of temporary cofferdams, installation of piles, construction of piers, abutments, girders deck, barriers and approximately 600 m of road construction. A combination of earth borrow, lightweight fill and geotextile will be utilized in the construction of the proposed roadway. The existing bridge is to remain in place during construction and may only be removed after the proposed structure is open to vehicle traffic.
