For: COMMON ROOM AREA UPGRADES AT 18 SOPHIA ST E, BARRIE, ON

The County of Simcoe on behalf of the Simcoe County Housing Corporation (SCHC) is requesting Quotations for the provision of services for the SCHC building at 18 Sophia street, Barrie. Removal & Disposal of all carpet and base carpet trim on the Ground and 2nd floor. After removal, all bidders will be required to include labour to install & Supply the specified ceramic floor tile, adhesive materials, grout materials, wall base, thresholds, tile edging and Schluter expansion joints where needed and as specified here within on the Ground and 2nd floor/s. All Bidders will be required to provide pricing to perform patching where needed and painting of all walls and some doors of common hallways and stairwells on the ground and 2nd floors, all bidders will supply all materials labour to provide this service and use the specified colours here within. All bidders will be required to remove the old and existing Ground floor ceiling grid debris and install a new Fire rated ceiling grid as specified here within. All bidders will be required to provide abatement work if necessary, supply all materials and labour to install new Metalux 22CGTX-45HE-L835 lights, new/modification of wiring, new motion/dimming sensors, modify/reinstate Smoke detectors and reinstate security cameras on the Ground floor. SCHC also require bidders to provide labour and materials for the removal and replacement of all existing emergency exit lights and the additional extra Exit lights where required.
All bidders will also be required to price the removal of the existing hallway lighting on the 2nd floor, bidders will also be required to supply and replace previously mentioned lights with Metalux 22CGTX-45HE-L835 lights. Bidders will be required to supply parts and labour to modify the wiring for additional/new lighting, new wiring for new motion/dimming sensors and provide localized repairs to existing grid where needed.
